and died
you can see his face everywhere
a skinny man with long hair
a voice of one calling in the desert

he walked seven steps
look up
down

forward
behind
above
and beyond
and said
I wanna love you and treat you right

he came to me
and I dropped the vase
took my head to heaven
he made me die for a hundred years
brought me alive again
he palmed my back
and I felt an uncanny fear
he asked me
how much time had passed
I answered
a day
or part of a day
he took me down from heaven
and I picked up the vase
and not a single drop had dropped
